On December 9th, we visited our partner school “Dimitar Vlahov-Shtip”as part of the project “WOMAD”, financed by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Commission and implemented in cooperation with Football Club Red Star from Serbia, Football Club O Val de Naron from Spain, and ASD Euromamme from Italy.
The goal of the workshop was to promote gender equality in sports and open meaningful conversations with students. Working with the enthusiastic 9th-graders, the session focused on raising awareness about gender imbalances in sports participation, understanding the root causes, and exploring ways to challenge stereotypes and promote equal opportunities for all.
Through engaging discussions and interactive activities, students had the chance to reflect on real-life examples, share their opinions, and think critically about how they can contribute to a more inclusive sports environment. ♀️⚽
