As part of the ongoing activities within the WOMAD project, on March 26th and 27th, we organized a dedicated training session with youngsters, aiming to actively involve them in shaping the tools and ideas we’re developing
The project is financed by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Commission, and coordinated by Minority Leaders for Society – MLS from North Macedonia, in cooperation with Football Club Red Star from Serbia, Football Club O Val de Naron from Spain, and ASD Euromamme from Italy.
The training was designed as an open and engaging space where young participants could learn, share, and contribute to the project’s mission of promoting gender equality, inclusion, and education through play. Through interactive workshops, group discussions, and hands-on activities, the participants explored key themes of the project and provided valuable feedback on the educational games and materials being created.
Key Highlights from the Training:
-
Open dialogue on gender and inclusion
-
Hands-on testing of game prototypes
-
Creative input from youth on design and content
-
Building awareness around equity in education and sports
This activity was not only about testing content — it was about empowering young people to be co-creators of change. Their ideas, enthusiasm, and honest reflections are helping to shape a more inclusive and relevant final product.
