In December 2018, our partner from Bulgaria, International Initiatives for Cooperation (IIC), organized 3 local workshops within the project “World Without Hate – Youth for Human Rights” funded by the Erasmus + programme, under KA2, Capacity Building in field of youth.
During the workshops the participants had the opportunity to hear and learn more about the hate speech, its roots, and its consequences and about the alternative narratives.
They acted in an improvised play which helped them realize how complicated and difficult these situations can be and how they affect people’s lives, feelings and opinions.
At the end of each workshop they created campaigns to fight the hate speech.
